1. EXHIBITING ARTIST MEMBERSHIP
Dues are set annually by the Board of Directors for all categories of membership. Annual dues shall be due and payable upon the commencement of Artist Membership in the Arts Guild by the end of the month that the screening and acceptance has occurred. The initial dues amount will be determined on a pro-rated basis beginning with the end of the month that the screening has occurred. Annual dues of $100.00 shall be due by January 15 of each year.
2. EXHIBITING ARTIST MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
A. Apply (see application form)
B. Screen for membership through screening procedure
C. Pay annual dues
D. Pay hanging fee to exhibit in gallery
E. Show work in the gallery at minimum three (3) times each calendar year (juried shows not included)
F. Work in the Gallery during any month work is shown.
G. Donate a minimum of one (1) piece of art to the annual Spring event and one (1) piece of first quality art for the annual Fall event.
H. Serve on a standing committee, as an event coordinator, assist on event committees, or hold one of the jobs relating to the Gallery’s maintenance and monthly activities.
3. EXHIBITING ARTIST MEMBERS PRIVILEGES AND BENEFITS
A. Each Artist Member is entitled to receive Guild mailings and to submit articles for possible publication. (Submitted articles will be screened by the Public Relations Committee)
B. To have a say in your Guild on Guild business.
C. To vote on Guild business.
D. To present Master Artist Workshops sponsored by the Guild.
E. To receive a ten percent (10%) discount on all purchases made from the Guild Gallery.
D. To be included on the Guild’s Website.
4. EXHIBITING ARTIST MEMBER ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA)
Artist Members may elect to change their membership status to being On Leave of Absence. This change may be based on any personal reason. The change in status can be effected by and causes the following conditions:
A. The payment of $50 dollars, which may be waived in lieu of the Member donating pieces of art to the Guild’s annual fundraising events.
B. The Member is relieved of obligations required of active members,
C. The Member is not allowed to show artwork in the Guild gallery, except in invitational or juried shows.
